We calculate your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR)—the energy your body needs at rest—using the Mifflin–St. Jeor equation. Then, by factoring in your activity level and personal goal (loss, maintenance, gain), we estimate your Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE) and suggest a daily calorie intake.
